...As a leading art foundries in China, we explores combing new tech with traditional bronze casting technique. Below is a bronze sculpture we cast for artist Ken Sealey.The sculpture is 50 cm tall. The artist sends us digital model of the sculpture. We use 3D printing tech to print it out first and then make rubber mold and cast bronze. Below is a short documentation on how we make it. Kevin Robb creates contemporary stainless steel sculptures and bronze sculptures, magnificent works crafted by Kevin since he suffered a massive stroke in 2004. He arrives daily in the studio with his slow, cane assisted walk and limited vocabulary of about 100 words and works diligently with the men that have been hired to be his hands. Kevin directs the staff in every cut, angle, curve and weld. He’s like a maestro in the studio demanding the sculptures be created according to his vision as well as maintaining the high quality craftsmanship his reputation is built upon.
The social aspect of new artwork is also a wonderful, unsung benefit. Neighbors walking by, who are accustomed to seeing our stainless steel sculptures in the gardens, are invited inside to view the latest addition to our art collection, friends are contacted to share the good news, and cocktail conversation is enlivened with the story of the acquisition. Then the nighttime settles in and sitting in the room with this new beautiful wall hanging brings a sense of renewed energy and peace.

Kevin Robb, a Colorado metal sculptor,is featured in the Art Gallery at Denver International Airport. Large photographic wall murals share the monumental, stainless steel sculptures that have highlighted his career over the years. Along with the wall murals are a number of smaller stainless steel sculptures that capture the essence of his designs. Also highlighted in this exhibit is a wall filled with Kevin Robb’s Calypso Collection – bright, eye catching, multicolored table top sized and wall sculptures.
After a couple of years of concentrating on larger scale stainless steel sculptures, Kevin goes back to yesteryear when he created the majority of his designs in fabricated bronze. Kevin enjoyed working with this wonderfully pliable material again while creating On Pointe. This 8 foot bronze sculpture is just out of the studio and being introduced into the sculpture gardens.
