Monday, April 16 by Krista We recently had the pleasure of welcoming artist Lyman Whitaker to our gardens for a few days while he installed 122 of his pieces for our summer art exhibit, “Wind Sculptures in Motion: The Kinetic Art of Lyman Whitaker,” presented by Reliant.
For over 20 years, Lyman Whitaker has created and developed these remarkable kinetic wind sculptures. Powered only by the wind, each sculpture has its own character and charm. Each piece can stand alone or work together in groupings known as “wind gardens”.
